Hello everyone,

I am in Prague and yesterday my latest creation premiered.
Filip Barankiewicz, the Artistic Director of the Czech National Ballet, commissioned this work from me for a beautiful triple bill called Slavic Temper. It has been great to be here and have worked with Filip’s wonderful dancers. I will soon be back home, but unfortunately just for a day, because I start work on my next creation on Monday!
In the meantime I wish the Stuttgart Ballet a big toi toi toi for the upcoming shows!

Best
Katarzyna

From Russia with LOVE!

I am very excited to be back in Moscow on one of the most famous stages in the world, at the Bolshoi Theatre, I am very much looking forward to dance in the World Ballet Stars Gala: A Tribute to Marius Petipa.

Making the occasion even more special is my first partnership with the Bolshoi Ballet prima ballerina Olga Smirnova. We are both so thrilled to dance together the Mirror pas de deux from Onegin for two nights on 31st May and 1st June.

Much love
Friedemann

Elisa Badenes and Alexander Jones

Hello everyone!

I am currently in London and preparing for tonight’s performance of Christian Spuck’s Le Grand Pas de Deux in the Royal Opera House – an amazing stage! I am very happy to come back to London, especially as I studied at the Royal Ballet School, and even more because my dancing partner will be Alexander Jones, who was as well a Principal Dancer in Stuttgart.

Hugs from London
Elisa

Ciao from Roma!

What a joy to be back here with the Rome Opera Ballet, for the second year in a row! This time, I will be dancing Chevalier des Grieux in Kenneth MacMillan’s beautiful tragedy Manon, with the Rome Opera Ballet Director of the Corps de Ballet and Paris Opera Ballet Ètoile Eleonora Abbagnato in the eponymous role. It has been a while since Eleonora and I last shared the stage, so I am really looking forward to partnering her again, for three performances on 25th, 27th and 29th May, at the beautiful Teatro Costanzi.

Much love
Friedemann
