Alicia Amatriain presenting a Gala in San Sebastián.

Hola Everbody,

All is well here in San Sebastián where I am presenting a Gala called “Donostia Bihotzean” (San Sebastián in my heart). We are ready for our first show tonight and I am very excited to share the stage with fellow Stuttgart dancers Friedeman Vogel and Martí Fernández Paixà and other colleagues Marijn Rademaker, Daniel Camargo, Xander Parish, Aya Okumura, Ekaterina Osmolkina, and Timothy van Poucke.

I’ll be dancing Onegin, Legende and Aus Holbergs Zeit by John Cranko, as well as an excerpt from Hans van Manen’s Frank Bridge Variations and Lightness in Spirit by Katarzyna Kozielska. I’ll also be premiering a new creation by Fabio Adorisio called Egurra!

I want to thank the city of San Sebastián for the amazing warm welcome given to me yesterday at the city hall.

Missing as always my wonderful audience in Stuttgart. See you on Monday!

Kisses,

Alicia Amatriain

Dear Stuttgart Ballet fans,

at the moment I am in Cabo San Lucas (Mexico). I was invited by Christina Lyon, Artistic Director and founder of the prestigious Gala de Danza to choreograph a piece on four talented young dancers. Together we are having a great time creating something special for the closing of the Gala that will premiere in March. I will be here only few more days and then I will be back in my lovely home to continue creating Dark Glow for Stuttgart Ballet’s upcoming premiere SEDUCTION! on February 3, 2017. In the meantime I want to wish all of you from my heart a wonderful and happy new year. Let 2017 be a magical a peaceful year!

Yours
Kasia

To our lovely audience and fans,

we are writing to you from BAM, the Brooklyn Academy of Music Opera House in  New York. We’re here for the Youth America Grand Prix Gala „Stars of today meet stars of tomorrow“ where Daniel performed the Solo Firebreather that I created for him, as well as the Diana and Actaeon pas de deux with a soloist of the American Ballet Theatre.

As you can see we are already at the party because Daniel just finished his performance. The show was great and the audience loved the performance. Today, on April 29th it will be performed again so if any of you Stuttgarters are here in New York we will be happy to see you.

With love

Katarzyna and Daniel

Today and Friday we will be on stage performing: We’ll be dancing Christian Spuck’s Le Grand Pas de deux at Dance Salad Festival!

See you soon,

Kisses,

Jason and Alicia

Hi everybody!

After our premiere on Friday I flew to London to dance with Polina Semionova at a gala in honor of the great dancer Maya Plisetskaya. The performance was at the London Coliseum and we danced the last pas de deux from John Cranko’s Onegin. Now I am already on my way back to Stuttgart, because on Wednesday night I’ll be performing again in Hans van Manen’s Kammerballett and in Glen Tetley’s Arena in the Play House.

See you there!

Jason
